Organic Matcha Ceremonial Grade (30g)
Experience the vibrant taste and tradition of authentic Japanese matcha with Organic Matcha Ceremonial Grade (30g). Produced by Aiya, a respected Japanese matcha producer with roots dating back to 1888, this USDA Organic certified matcha is crafted from carefully selected tea leaves that are organically grown, handpicked, and traditionally granite stone-ground into an ultra-fine powder.
Designed for Usu-cha (thin matcha) preparation, this ceremonial grade matcha delivers a smooth, creamy texture with a naturally sweet finish balanced by a delicate vegetal character and gentle astringency. The sweetness comes naturally from L-theanine, while catechins contribute the refreshing complexity that premium matcha is known for.
Unlike steeped teas, matcha allows you to consume the entire tea leaf, providing a concentrated source of naturally occurring antioxidants and nutrients. Its balanced caffeine and L-theanine content offers calm, sustained energy and mental clarity, making it an excellent choice for morning rituals, afternoon focus, or daily wellness routines.
Whether you’re practicing a traditional Japanese tea ceremony or simply enjoying a peaceful moment at home, this ceremonial matcha offers an authentic and approachable experience for both beginners and seasoned matcha enthusiasts.
Each 30g (1.1 oz) tin yields approximately 15 servings, making it perfect for daily enjoyment while preserving freshness.

Traditional Consumption & Cultural Use
Matcha has been an important part of Japanese tea culture for centuries and is the centerpiece of the traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony (Chanoyu). Ceremonial grade matcha is specifically crafted for drinking rather than cooking, with a smoother, sweeter profile that highlights the craftsmanship of Japanese tea producers.
Prepared as Usu-cha (thin tea), ceremonial matcha is whisked with hot water until a rich layer of fine foam develops. Today, many people enjoy ceremonial matcha not only during traditional tea ceremonies but also as part of a mindful daily routine, appreciating its combination of natural energy, focus, and calming balance.
