Dragonwell Green Tea

The Dragonwell (or “Lung Ching” in local parlance) is praised for its four uniqueness- jade color, vegetative aroma, mellow chestnut flavor and singular shape. Its leaves are broad and flat.  Dragonwell tea is refreshingly smooth, sweet and delicate and is among the very best of Chinese greens.

Our 'Dragonwell' is a First Grade version of this truly sublime tea.

Dragonwell Story

Dragonwell’s name was originally derived from a local spring. Legend says that it is the lair of a dragon.  It had been presented as tribute to many generations of Chinese emperors.  With its high reputation, it was also the tea served to Richard Nixon in his memorable encounter with Mao Tse-Tung.

Health Benefits of Dragonwell Green Tea

Studies show green tea aids in detoxifying the body, regulates your blood sugar, and promotes healthy teeth, skin, and bones. Green tea contains polyphenols.

How to Prepare Dragonwell Green Tea

Use 1 teaspoon of tea per 8oz of water. Heat water to 175-180 degrees and steep tea for 1.5-2 minutes. 2oz of tea equals 25-30 teaspoons.
