Green Tea Processing to Preparation
It is made from the Camellia sinensis plant. There are varieties of green tea, from Japan and China, each one with its distinctiveness. They go through minimal oxidation during processing.

The Chinese green tea is yellowish green in color and has a toasted taste. Japanese green tea produces dark green liquid and grassy in taste.

It has a powerfull amount of antioxidants that helps to prevent cancer and boost the immune system. In addition, it lowers the risk of heart diease and promotes healthy teeth and gums.
Brewing green tea generally requires hot water at 175º (add two ice cubes for every 8 oz of boiling water to achieve this temperature). Use 1 tsp of leaves per 8 oz of water and steep for 1 minute. Hand-rolled teas like Jasmine Pearl Green Tea will take about 1 minute to allow the pearl to unfurl first. Gyukoru and Pi Lo Chun need only 30-45 seconds to steep.
